Job Description
The Accounting Manager is responsible for managing external financial reporting, accounting research, general accounting functions, and ensuring compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations.
Requirements
- Knowledge of GAAP and SSAP.
- Knowledge of general ledger accounting software packages.
- Knowledge of federal reporting requirements including SEC reporting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Leadership skills.
- Proficient in Excel and Word.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
- Five to seven years of accounting experience.
- Prior supervisory experience.
- CPA required.
