We are seeking a Director of Marketing and Public Relations to oversee the development and implementation of a multi-faceted recruitment plan and public relations program at Clarkson College.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, public relations, communications, business, public policy, journalism, advertising, development, or related field required.
- Minimum five to seven years’ experience in marketing, public relations communications, business, development, or a related field required.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and implement strategic marketing and communications initiatives aligned with institutional goals, required.
- Professional knowledge or the principles, practices, and techniques of public information, public relations, and community outreach programs required.
- Experience with budget oversight and basic financial management related to departmental or project activities, required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with college faculty, staff, community members, media representatives, and colleagues required.
- Ability to demonstrate sound judgement and creativity in interpreting and applying policies, events, and communications needs required.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
