Job Description
Clarkson Construction Company is seeking a Structures Estimator to join their dynamic team and contribute to their legacy of building the foundations for future generations. The Estimator will play a crucial role in project planning and execution, focusing on cost estimation, bid proposal preparation, and initial stages of project management for bridge construction projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Experience with estimation software (e.g., Agtek Gradework, Highway, Underground and Materials, AutoCAD, HCSS HeavyBid, and/or Bid2Win, Bluebeam Revu)
- Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and the latest industry standards.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Capable of working in a team environment and handling client interactions professionally.
- Able to manage multiple bids and projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
