Broker (Sale & Purchase - Ship Finance Projects)

Clarksons is seeking an experienced Broker with ship finance experience to join their Sale & Purchase Finance & Projects team in Tokyo. The successful candidate will drive revenue, develop a client base, and negotiate deals while maintaining a strong understanding of market trends and client needs.

Requirements

• Successful track record of sale & purchase broking
• Experience in ship finance, for example in the ship finance department of a bank or leasing company
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Personable and engaging, able to build strong relationships
• Strong commercial judgement with excellent negotiation skills
• Driven, self-motivated and client focused
• Confident and able to work well under pressure
• Fluency in Japanese as well as English
