Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• United States citizen
• Oregon driving privileges
• High school diploma or GED
• Basic Police Certificate or obtain within one year
• Pass entry-level pre-employment evaluations
• No felony convictions or convictions involving controlled substances
• Previous college-level training or experience in law enforcement or corrections (requested)
• Knowledge of the county area (requested)
• Training related to police equipment and/or operations (requested)
