Job Description
Seeking an energetic Heavy Industrial Mechanic to join the La Porte, TX team. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing plant equipment, performing daily preventative maintenance, and utilizing a propylene cutting rig.
Requirements
- Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times
- Disassemble/Reassemble heavy and mobile equipment to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair
- Fabricate metal pieces and replace gaskets as needed
- Troubleshoot, repair and test all equipment to ensure functionality
- Utilize propylene cutting rig
- Repair equipment using MIG and/or stick welding
- Enter data for repairs, diagnosis, preventative maintenance, inventory check out and time
- Complete daily work and training on computers
