Clean Harbors is looking for a Lead Diesel Mechanic to oversee the day-to-day operations of the shop, ensuring safety and DOT compliance. The role involves supervising maintenance work, maintaining records, and performing repairs and inspections.
Requirements
- Ensuring Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes.
- Performing preventative maintenance, conducting inspections, troubleshooting, and diagnosing failures and deficiencies.
- Completing daily checklists, submitting paperwork, and communicating problems or issues with the unit immediately upon discovery.
- Conducting Safety Checks and Annual Vehicle Inspections in accordance with provincial and federal laws.
- Maintaining a clean work environment and performing other assignments as assigned by management.
