Histotechnician

Clear Choice Dermatology is seeking an entry-level Histology Tech/MOHS tech/Medical Assistant to assist in performing various stages of specimen handling for their busy lab. Responsibilities include grossing, embedding, sectioning, staining, and maintaining equipment. The Histology tech will be supervised by the Laboratory Manager/Supervisor and collaborate with the dermatology team.

Requirements

• Knowledge of basic histology
• Ability to overcome and adapt under pressure
• Ability to work independently
• Strong commitment to patient care and privacy guidelines
• Excellent computer and time management skills
• Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
• Very familiar with and follows all CLIA, OSHA and HIPAA regulations
