Job Description
Clear Street is a financial services firm modernizing the brokerage ecosystem, built from scratch using cloud-native technology. They are seeking a Backend Software Engineer to build their core Platform, focusing on data processing, API design, and strategic caching to deliver accuracy and consistency. The role requires collaboration, mentorship, and continuous improvement of technical standards.
Requirements
- At least eight (8) years of professional experience implementing highly scalable services (Go, gRPC, Python, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, Kafka, Redis, Docker, Kubernetes)
- Confidence in designing and building flexible APIs
- Contribution to systems delivering solutions to complex business problems
- Strong command over object-oriented design patterns, data structures, and algorithms
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience mentoring team members
