Engineering Manager - Cheques

Join our Customer Products Engineering team as an Engineering Manager, reporting to the team’s Director of Engineering. You will form and lead a team responsible for several of our key payment capabilities, building a partnership with Product colleagues to plan, deliver and improve technical capabilities in an exciting area for ClearBank.

Requirements

• Experience successfully leading software development teams
• Strong communication skills
• Good technical skills, with exposure to Azure, C#, SQL and related technologies or closely aligned alternatives
• People focused and skilled in coaching the team and individual team members to achieve a high level of performance
• A continuous improvement mindset
• Good understanding of agile and lean development practices
• A good understanding of modern software development practices
• Implementing CI/CD, managing cloud-based capabilities and improving delivery flow
