We are looking for a talented Senior Analytics Engineer to join our Data Mission, where you'll take technical ownership of how we model, transform, and activate data at scale. Using a cutting-edge tech stack including dbt, Databricks, and Kafka, you'll define the standards that the team works to and build the data products that power decisions for millions of users.
Requirements
- Taking technical ownership of large data initiatives, leading delivery end-to-end across multiple components, stakeholders, and delivery phases
- Setting and upholding best practice standards for analytics engineering across our entire data model, from data modelling conventions and dbt patterns to testing, documentation, and observability, and ensuring these standards are understood and applied consistently
- Leading data model design discussions and shaping architectural direction, including designing new schemas from the ground up with best practices and end-user utility in mind
- Shaping how we use SQL, dbt, Databricks, and AI at scale — advising on complex or high-risk transformations and contributing to tooling and architectural direction
- Bringing a system-level perspective on lineage, workflows, and observability, ensuring the organisation can reason clearly about data flows, dependencies, and accountability
- Coaching and mentoring engineers across the team, building capability through code reviews, design discussions, and knowledge sharing
- Collaborating with Platform and Data Science teams to define requirements for new data products and troubleshoot upstream data issues
