Senior Product Designer - Cape Town

The Senior Product Designer is responsible for leading high-quality product design delivery within ClearScore’s platform missions. The role balances hands-on design, line management, and delivery accountability, with a strong focus on translating design intent into build-ready experiences that scale.

Requirements

• Lead end-to-end design delivery across one or more squads
• Translate design intent into coherent, build-ready experiences
• Maintain high standards of usability, accessibility, and visual quality
• Line manage a small group of Product Designers
• Coach designers on craft, judgement, and responsible use of AI tools
• Set clear expectations around quality, consistency, and efficient ways of working
• Guide design direction within your area
• Facilitate critiques that raise quality and shared understanding
• Work in strong partnership with Product Managers and Engineers
• Communicate design rationale clearly and influence decisions across disciplines
