Mortgage Lending Underwriter Level III

Review member loan applications and make decisions in line with Clearview's Credit Risk Appetite, looking for solutions to member requests within the designated lending authority level. Maintain a working knowledge of current lending guidelines and make loan decisions in a way that places members in the best possible solution for their unique situation.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 5 years’ underwriting or equivalent advanced risk mitigation and decision-making experience required
• Proven ability to look for solutions beyond an original request
• Proven decision-making and analytical skills
• Detail oriented and excellent follow through techniques
• Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
• Demonstrates ability to be adaptable
• Strong experience using various software programs
• Demonstrates general knowledge of or willingness to learn how AI tools are being used in a responsible way to improve results, adapt workflows, and support a culture of innovation.
• Excellent communication and service skills both internally and externally
