Senior Linux Systems Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Linux Systems Engineer to join our team at Clearwater Analytics, a technology platform for investment management, reporting, accounting, and analytics. The role involves improving existing Linux infrastructure, managing day-to-day operations, and recommending new technology for hosting a world-class SaaS platform.

Requirements

• Hands on experience with RHEL or Debian-based distros
• Experience with managing Linux systems at scale using configuration management
• Strong background in using git and GitOps workflows
• Experience with enterprise monitoring tools
• Experience with open-source log ingestion and analysis tools
• Basic knowledge of MySQL DB
• Experience with hardware virtualization technologies
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or other container orchestration technology
• Strong understanding of OSI network layers and technologies
• Ability to troubleshoot common Linux system performance issues
• Experience working with bare metal servers
• Solid experience with scripting in Bash/Shell and Python
• Good documentation and communication skills
