Job Description
Senior Reliability Engineer responsible for managing power distribution systems and assets, driving improvement in all areas of the mill, and providing technical assistance to production, reliability, and quality groups. Must have 7+ years of experience in engineering, preferably in the paper industry and reliability engineering experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required
- 7+ years of experience in engineering, preferably in the paper industry and reliability engineering experience
- Proficient in Easy Power, Microsoft Office Word and Excel
- AutoCAD experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to effectively work with vendors, managers, and production employees to achieve goals
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Capable of managing Process Safety Management programs
- Familiar with and have a good working knowledge of construction and repair codes (NEC, NFPA 70E, IEEE, IEC, NEMA)
- Knowledgeable with maintenance best practices (vibration analysis, oil analysis, etc.) preferred
- Must be capable of understanding and troubleshooting complex industrial systems and equipment
- Understanding of LEAN manufacturing and Continuous Improvement (CI) concepts preferred
- Professional Engineering license preferred
