Job Description
The Generation Construction Manager role involves supervising construction contractors on capital projects, coordinating field operations, and ensuring successful project execution at Cleco, a power generation company.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
- 3-5+ years of related experience in construction management
- FE preferred
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar is preferred
- Willingness and ability to learn new technologies on the job
- Proficient at functioning effectively within a team environment
- Leading practices of their practice area
- Knowledge of construction and O&M procedures
- Construction methods, plant operations, instrumentation, cycle thermodynamics, CADD & scheduling programs
