Job Description
Cleveland-Cliffs Tubular Components is seeking a Tube Mill Entry Level Operator for their Columbus, Indiana location. This role involves monitoring, maintaining, and operating the off-loader section of the tube mill on a 3rd shift, ensuring tubing is properly delivered to customers. The position requires physical strength and the ability to perform quality checks and follow work instructions.
Requirements
- Hand stack, package or band steel tubing manually
- Visually perform quality checks
- Read and follow work instructions
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be able to lift up to 45 lbs
- Regular 3rd shift schedule
- Regular 3rd shift schedule: Monday night through Friday morning – 8pm – 6am
- Ability to read and comprehend English written procedures
