The Electrical Engineer will provide engineering evaluations, designs and recommendations for a wide range of equipment and systems within the facility, ensuring compliance with federal, state and local laws and regulations, and company safety and environmental policies and procedures.
Requirements
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or equivalent field from an accredited school.
- Three (3) to Five (5) years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Solid computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office products (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to read and understand technical information, prints and engineering data, interpret charts, graphs, and gauge scales.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment and systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to be available to work off-hours and days as business needs dictate.
- Ability to work in both office and industrial environments, including wearing required PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, hearing protection, respirator, fall protection) and performing tasks involving heights, stairs, uneven surfaces, and extended periods of computer-based work.
