Senior IT Applications Engineer

The Senior IT Applications Engineer will provide IT support for the Indiana Harbor manufacturing applications and subsystems built on Mainframe COBOL/DB2, and will collaborate with business partners and vendors to analyze requirements and define project and technical support needs.

Requirements

• Problem investigation, analysis, design, programming, testing, and malfunction resolution
• Collaboration with business partners, team members, and vendors
• Proactive gathering of requirements and development or modification of applications
• Planning, organizing, and delivery of technical projects and solutions
• 24x7 on-call support for Indiana Harbor OFS applications and subsystems
• Follows IT Change Management processes for production changes and maintains documentation
