The Shift Manager of Operations is responsible for the safe operation of the facility, prioritizing and directing the work of Plant Operators, and optimizing plant production.
Requirements
- High school diploma
- 3-5 years of experience in a heavy industrial, hydrocarbon, or mining environment
- Experience supervising maintenance employees in a heavy manufacturing environment
- Microsoft Office experience (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) experience; Ellipse preferred
- Ability to work under minimal supervision and effectively manage multiple/changing priorities
- Reasonable mechanical aptitude (preferably with experience in pipe materials, specifications, fittings, seals, water piping/pumping systems, compressible fluid piping/pumping systems, welding, conveying equipment, gearing/bearings/power transmission)
