Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA)- Gastroenterology Outpatient Provider I

We are seeking a nationally certified Advanced Practice Provider to provide primary and specialty care in a variety of healthcare settings. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with a high level of autonomy and have experience in gastroenterology.

Requirements

• Conducts thorough medical histories
• Performs complete physical examinations
• Initiates appropriate lab, radiology tests, or other special tests
• Scrutinizes lab data to establish a record of the patient's current health status
• Develops a working diagnosis and treatment plan
• Collaborates with the health care team
• Performs and interprets common laboratory, radiologic, cardiographic, and other routine diagnostic procedures
• Prescribes and monitors medications
• Educates patients
• Participates in medical team rounds
• Refers patients to specialists
• Ensures continuity of care
• Participates in quality monitoring
• Supports professional development
• Promotes translation of evidence-based practices
