Job Description
At Cleveland Clinic Health System, we believe in a better future for healthcare. This role is for a Clinical Pharmacist - Inpatient at Marymount Hospital, which serves the needs of Garfield Heights and the Southeast communities of Cuyahoga County. The caregiver will provide safe, efficient, patient-centered, evidence-based medication services, verify medication orders, and educate and train students, residents, and other caregivers. The role involves a blend of clinical and operational responsibilities, including decentralized pharmacy services and research opportunities.
Requirements
- PharmD or Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from an accredited college of pharmacy
- Current state licensure as a Registered Pharmacist (RPh) or eligible for reciprocation in current state within 90 days of hire
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross and completion of a Board of Pharmacy approved course in the administration of immunizations or certification obtained within 90 days (for individuals required to administer immunizations)
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and/or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification through American Heart Association (AHA)or American Red Cross
