Pharmacy Technician - Inpatient

The inpatient pharmacy technician supports pharmacists in providing pharmacy services, including packaging, preparation, and distribution of medications, inventory control, customer service, and maintaining pharmacy records.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• Registered Pharmacy Technician through the Ohio Board of Pharmacy
• National certification as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or the National Healthcare Association (NHA)
• Registration as a Certified Pharmacy Technician with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy
• Understanding of algebraic calculations necessary for the preparation of extemporaneous compounds
