Phlebotomist

Join our team at Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital and experience world-class healthcare at its best. We are looking for a Phlebotomist to collect blood samples from patients and facilitate the collection and transportation of other laboratory specimens.

Requirements

• Collect blood, process specimens and perform reference laboratory processing in laboratory testing.
• Perform related techniques, such as blood glucose tests and blood cultures.
• Prepare samples for testing and manage specimens in the laboratory information system.
• Prepare and ship reference laboratory specimens and resolve pending specimens and pending transports.
• Monitor test ordering patients and requisitions to ensure compliance with outpatient laboratory testing.

Benefits
