Point of Care Specialist

The Point of Care Specialist implements the standardized Point of Care program throughout the Cleveland Clinic Health System.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in chemical, physical, biological or Clinical Laboratory Science
• Must be licensed in the State of Florida at the supervisor’s level
• One or more specialties: Hematology, Chemistry, or all licenses
• Three years of clinical laboratory training or experience, or both, in non-waived testing
• Ability to sit, stand or walk extensively
• Light lifting may be required
• May be exposed to hazardous chemicals, biohazards, radioactive materials, communicable diseases, body fluids, etc.
