The position of PRN Radiation Therapist requires a graduate from a School of Radiation Therapy Technology, a Radiation Therapist license in the State of Ohio, and Radiation Therapy (T) - ARRT certification. The role involves implementing plans of treatment, prescribed by an oncologist and created by a medical dosimetrist, and using accelerators and ionizing-radiation producing equipment to treat diseases, primarily different kinds of cancer.
Requirements
- Graduate from a School of Radiation Therapy Technology
- Radiation Therapist license in the State of Ohio
- Radiation Therapy (T) - ARRT certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to operate radiation equipment properly and safely
