Surgical Technologist

Surgical Technologists assist with procedures under the supervision of surgeons and RNs, helping ensure quality patient care before, during and after the operative procedure.

Requirements

• Successful completion of a Surgical Technology Program accredited through CCAAHEP or ABHES OR Certification as a Surgical Technologist (TS-C or CST) OR completion of a military Surgical Technology Program OR state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
• Surgical Technologist Certification from an accredited Surgical Technology Program
• Scrubbing experience
