Senior Staff Platform Engineer – OpenStack - Ceph

As a Senior Staff Platform Engineer at Cloudera, you will be responsible for deploying, managing, and troubleshooting OpenStack environments, and improving how OpenStack is packaged and delivered. You will work on automation, configuration management, and orchestration using Ansible, and ensure that OpenStack runs reliably and integrates seamlessly with Kubernetes and the Taikun platform.

Requirements

• 8+ years of related experience
• Proven experience with OpenStack deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting
• Strong Linux system administration skills
• Proficiency with Ansible for automation and configuration management
• Experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments
• Familiarity with Helm for application packaging and deployment
• Knowledge of container image creation and optimization
• Extensive knowledge of Ceph
