Solutions Engineer, South Korea

Cloudera is seeking a Solutions Engineer to support partners and drive the adoption of its modern data management and analytics platform (CDP). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in customer-facing activities, core technical proficiency, and a deep understanding of distributed systems, AI, and advanced analytics.

Requirements

• Professional Experience: Extensive experience performing customer-facing activities as part of a pre-sales, sales engineering, or professional services team, preferably within a partner-centric model.
• Core Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of Linux environments, Java, and SQL, including expertise in query optimization and complex data model design.
• Distributed Systems Knowledge: A thorough understanding of distributed systems, big data architectures (Hadoop/Spark), and the Cloudera ecosystem (CDP).
• Cloud & Container Orchestration: A solid understanding of Kubernetes (K8s) and containerized environments is required to support CDP Private Cloud and Public Cloud deployments.
• AI & Advanced Analytics Skills: Deep understanding of AI/ML fundamentals, extensive hands-on experience with ML frameworks, and proven expertise across the full ML lifecycle (MLOps), including the delivery of scalable AI solutions on enterprise data platforms.
• Communication & Presentation: Demonstrable ability to create and deliver compelling technical presentations and live product demos to a wide range of audiences, from engineers to C-level executives.
• Adaptability & Growth: Excellent communication skills combined with a deep willingness to learn, adapt, and stay ahead of the curve in a rapidly evolving data and AI landscape.
