Job Description
Work for Indiana and join one of the largest employers in the state. As a Correctional Officer at Putnamville Correctional Facility, you will be responsible for maintaining the security of the unit, safety of staff and incarcerated individuals, and daily activities and programs.
Requirements
- Possession of a High School Diploma or High School Equivalent (HSE)
- At least eighteen (18) years of age
- Ability to work with and around incarcerated individuals
- Ability to work mandatory/voluntary overtime in any shift
- Ability to understand and utilize chemical agents properly
