Join the Indiana Department of Revenue as a Revenue Tax Specialist and apply laws, rules, and regulations to difficult and complex tax compliance determinations. You will determine the eligibility for tax benefit programs, credits, and deductions, reviewing and evaluating the accuracy of assessments and adjustments made by other staff.
Requirements
- Extensive knowledge of state and federal tax laws, rules and regulations applying to each of the several types of taxes
- Specialized knowledge of accounting and auditing techniques used by businesses and industries
- Ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation
