Seasonal Property Worker - Shakamak State Park

The Seasonal Property Worker position at Shakamak State Park involves providing customer service, maintaining and upkeeping areas used by the general public, and performing various duties based on property needs. The job includes working afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays, and may require wearing a uniform and working in different environments. The position is seasonal and limited to 180 working days in an eleven-month continuous period.

Requirements

• May be expected to work afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• May be required to wear a DNR provided uniform
• May experience working directly with DOC work release crews
• May be required to have a valid driver’s license
• May be required to travel to additional properties
• May perform duties in a variety of different environments, including an office, field, rugged terrain, and various weather conditions (extreme heat, cold, rain, snow, sleet, etc)
