Senior Named Solutions Engineer, UKI

Cloudflare is seeking a Senior Named Solutions Engineer to join their team in London. The role involves collaborating with clients from early-stage ideation to planning for production, and requires a strong understanding of technical concepts and the ability to explain them in easy-to-understand terms. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in the IT industry, a good fundamental understanding of how to manage technical validation projects, and a positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in the IT industry (mid-level or senior engineering level experience)
• Ability to manage a project, work to deadlines, and prioritize between competing demands
• Demonstrating empathy with customers and quickly identifying challenges and pain points they face
• Understanding of "how the internet works"
• Ability to explain ROI and understand how customers make buying decisions
• Knowledge of the competitive landscape for one or more of: DDoS, CDN, Performance, DNS, Developer platform or Zero-Trust/SASE service providers
