Senior Security Engineer - Security Technology Delivery

Cloudflare is looking for a Senior Security Engineer to help secure their global network and enterprise. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity and a strong background in deploying and supporting infrastructure and security technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• 7+ years of previous experience in cyber security
• Strong relationship building with cross functional teams
• Experience working with corporate Information Technology platforms and systems
• Advanced security practices for Linux, MacOS, Windows systems
• Deep understanding of securing server infrastructure
• Strong experience with public cloud security best practices (GCP, Azure, etc.)
• Previous experience in deploying and continuous improvement of Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) tooling
• Previous experience in leading Proof of Concepts (PoC) for new security tooling
• Builds and nurtures robust working relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels
• Translates complex, ambiguous security situations into clear, actionable requirements to drive alignment and decision making
• Strong background in deploying and supporting infrastructure and security technologies
• Knowledge of scripting and automation tools (e.g., Python, Terraform, Ansible)
• Advanced programming experience (Python, Golang, Bash, etc.)
• Experience with risk review and evaluations of configurations
