Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to join our Pre-Sales Solution Engineering organisation. The ideal candidate will have a good fundamental understanding of how to obtain the technical win for customers, and be able to explain complex technical concepts in easy-to-understand terms. We are looking for a collaborative environment where everyone brings different strengths and jumps in to help each other.
Requirements
- Business Fluency in German
- Ability to manage a project, work to deadlines, and prioritize between competing demands
- Understanding of "how the internet works"
- Knowledge of TCP & UDP, authoritative DNS & recursive DNS, firewalls, TLS, HTTP, and security risks such as CSRF, XSS and SQLi
- Experience with a scripting language such as Python, JavaScript, or Bash
- Experience with web application development or contribution to an existing application
- Understanding of regulatory requirements such as PCI DSS, HIPAA, and SOC-2
- Exposure to emerging technical landscape trends such as SASE and Zero Trust
