Senior Systems Engineer, Platform

Cloudflare is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to join their Global Resource Management team. The team is responsible for driving organization and clarity across Cloudflare's platform, and the engineer will be at the forefront of tackling complex system architecture problems.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development, building and operating mission-critical, high-scale distributed systems.
• Strong proficiency in Go (Golang) or a similar modern systems language (e.g., Rust, Java, C++).
• Proven experience in designing, building, and operating scalable, highly available services at cloud-scale.
• Deep understanding of concepts related to organization, dependency management, and resource orchestration in a large, multi-tenant environment.
• Collaboration: Experience participating in a code review process and contributing thoughtful feedback to design specifications.
