Cloud DevOps Architect

We are looking for a Cloud DevOps Architect to lead the creation and management of an evaluated DevOps strategy for our clients. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing, implementing, and supporting large-scale infrastructure for new and existing products in AWS/Azure/GCP.

Requirements

• Lead CI/CD initiatives, leveraging expertise in Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CICD, CircleCI, and cloud-specific offerings (Azure DevOps, AWS DevOps) to automate secure builds, testing, and deployments across major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Champion a DevSecOps mindset to integrate security throughout the development lifecycle.
• Define the overall cloud architecture, including infrastructure design principles, containerization strategy, CI/CD pipeline structure, and disaster recovery plan.
• Possess strong knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Build, manage, and optimize IaaS environments for scalability, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
• Demonstrate advanced knowledge of container orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, Rancher) and configuration management tools (Ansible, Terraform) for infrastructure automation and consistency.
• Proficiently utilize monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Cloudwatch) and log management tools (Splunk, Datadog, ELK Stack) to diagnose performance bottlenecks, implement comprehensive observability practices, and ensure system health.
• Possess a strong understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks (HIPAA, GDPR, PCI DSS).
• Implement security controls, encryption, and access management to safeguard sensitive data in the cloud environment.
• Stay abreast of emerging cloud technologies and tools, recommending and evaluating potential solutions to optimize the cloud infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of networking and complex networked software systems.
• Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum & Kanban) with strong problem-solving skills at the server and application level.
• Foster close collaboration between development and operations teams, promoting a culture of shared ownership and continuous improvement.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers in adopting DevOps principles and best practices.
• Ability to contribute beyond coding through code reviews, demos, and proof-of-concept solutions Leading multiple projects at the same time.
