Senior Database Reliability Engineer (DBRE) (worldwide remote)

CloudLinux is hiring a Senior Database Reliability Engineer to work on a remote-first infrastructure and security company. The role involves keeping critical database services reliable, automating repeated work, supporting engineering teams, and reducing single-person dependency in PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, MongoDB, and Redis operations.

Requirements

• Deep hands-on PostgreSQL experience in business-critical production environments
• Strong understanding of PostgreSQL internals and operations
• Proven experience with highly available databases
• Strong Linux and infrastructure fundamentals
• Automation skills with Ansible and scripting
• Ability to support more than one database engine
• Practical use of AI engineering assistants such as Claude and Codex
