Director of Engineering, Infrastructure

We're hiring a Director of Engineering, Infrastructure to lead the development of cloud infrastructure and delivery platform. The role involves hands-on leadership, strategy, and technical skill to build and develop a small, focused team. The successful candidate will bring a clear point of view on modern infrastructure org and AI-native infrastructure, and have experience in cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and observability.

Requirements

• Engineering background with deep, hands-on experience operating production infrastructure across at least two major clouds (GCP, AWS, Azure) and with modern infrastructure-as-code (Terraform or similar)
• Built and operated modern CI/CD systems, dev environments, and observability stacks
• Built and operated infrastructure across different company sizes and business contexts
• Strong, well-reasoned point of view on platform philosophy
• Shipped AI-native operational systems
• Action-oriented on governance and security participation
• Built and developed teams
• Strong communicator: clear, direct, and concise with both technical and non-technical audiences
