Camp Counselor

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Basic first aid and CPR certification
• Previous experience working with children in a day care, camp, or educational setting (desirable)
• Experience in child supervision, activity planning, or youth programs (desirable)
• Familiarity with health and safety protocols for childcare environments
• Interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and fellow staff
• Ability to manage and engage a group of young children in fun, age-appropriate activities
• Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with children of various ages
• Ability to remain calm and attentive in a fast-paced or sometimes noisy environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure a safe and structured environment for the children
