Requirements

• Review all documents including pre-alert, e manifest, draft INV and handle other tasks as needed
• Check all required Import documents from counterparts to ensure compliance with customs regulation and internal procedures
• Follow-up shipment status in the Import area, identify incidents and ensure resolution of incidents
• Maintain close liaison with the accredited broker and other government agencies for various specialized Customs clearance requirements
• Researching and resolving operational problems
• Train new hires on departmental processes and procedures
• Filing and safe keeping of Shipment file and other necessary documents for future reference
• Comply with company requirements related to QHSE
• Select/train/motivate/provide guidance and develop co-employees in the import department
• Promotes accountability and solution driven
• Collaborate with the team and other dept. to ensure clear communication, alignment, and efficient execution accounts handled
• Identify performance issues of suppliers and proposes solutions to improve/correct performance
