Join our team as a Construction Special Inspector, providing essential inspections and material testing on high-profile commercial projects throughout the Greater Elmira, NY area.
Requirements
- Perform tests and inspections for soils, concrete, asphalt, reinforced concrete, masonry, welding & bolting, fireproofing & firestopping, geotechnical investigations, and more.
- Read construction drawings and specifications and correctly interpret test results.
- Complete assignment accurately and in accordance with appropriate established standards.
- Record and report test results in a clear, concise manner.
- Communicate regularly with project managers.
- Complete field data records and associated reports daily.
- Prepare for and complete continuing education for certifications through the American Concrete Institute (ACI) and International Code Council (ICC).
