Job Description
CMTS is seeking a highly motivated Construction Manager III to support the Terminal 5 Renovation and Reconstruction Project at Los Angeles International Airport. The Construction Manager will oversee construction activities associated with the demolition and rebuild of the Terminal 5 headhouse and concourse, including enabling scopes required to vacate the existing facility.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred
- Minimum 10 years of experience, preferably on airport projects
- Experience supporting projects exceeding $100 million in value
- Experience with delivery methods including Design-Bid-Build, CMAR, and Design-Build
- Proven ability to perform in a management capacity
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of construction practices, procedures, and regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam
- Familiarity with PMIS systems such as PMWeb
- Certifications such as AAAE, LEED, PMP, or PE
- Experience working in active airport environments
- Strong stakeholder coordination and large program experience
