Job Description
Principal AI Engineer position at CNA in Chicago, IL, USA. The ideal candidate will have expertise in AI-native software engineering practices, including agentic coding workflows, prompt and context engineering, and multi-agent orchestration. They will design and build the agentic infrastructure layer, lead the technical strategy for the centralized skills and agent marketplace, and provide expert technical consultation to engineering leadership.
Requirements
- Expert knowledge of AI-native software engineering practices
- Deep understanding of the modern software delivery lifecycle
- Expert-level proficiency in building and operating CI/CD platforms, infrastructure-as-code, container orchestration, and cloud platforms
- Strong knowledge of application security engineering
- Demonstrated ability to design developer platforms and tooling
- Proven ability to evaluate and integrate emerging AI technologies
