Underwriting Specialist (Underwriting Hub)

Underwriting Specialist position in the Underwriting Hub, responsible for underwriting risks in a book of business, utilizing technical expertise and product knowledge to make critical business decisions.

Requirements

• Review applications and financial requirements for risks requiring complex underwriting skills
• Determine acceptability of risk in accordance with company guidelines and standards
• Prepare quotes and answer questions from agencies, policyholders or other external contacts
• Analyze quality, quantity, and profitability of risks underwritten and prepare reports for management review
