Job Description
The Internal Audit Analyst role involves conducting risk-based reviews of processes and controls across departments, providing actionable recommendations, and driving continuous improvement to enhance organizational efficiency and effectiveness. The role requires strong business acumen, professional judgment, and interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills. The position involves non-routine, project-based work and requires adaptability to a fast-paced changing environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline
- Professional Auditing (e.g., CIA), Accounting (e.g., CPA), or a Professional Engineering designation (PEng.)
- 5 - 10 years of internal audit experience in a multi-disciplinary oil & gas company environment
- Knowledge and experience of oil & gas field operations, mining operations, corporate (e.g., IT, Finance) and related statutory and regulatory requirements
