Job Description
We are seeking a Process Technician to contribute to the success of our Operations team by monitoring, adjusting, and maintaining Sulphur Recovery and Amine equipment in the Upgrader at our Horizon facility. The successful candidate will operate a variety of equipment, gain knowledge of process operations, and progress to a main control room operator with proper development and competencies.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3+ years working in a refinery, petrochemical or an Upgrading facility
- Experience with shell & tube or plate exchangers, reaction furnace, stripping towers, force lubricated/flushed pumps and compressors, steam turbines, cotton string and carbon filters and flame front generators
- College or Technical Diploma (or equivalent) in process operations or related subjects
- Minimum 4th Class Power Engineering Certification
