Join Canadian Natural as a Tailings & Water Engineer and make a meaningful impact on long-term operational planning in a dynamic mining setting. Develop and steward site-wide water balance and maintain long-range tailings models, collaborating closely with multiple teams to drive optimized water and tailings system performance.
Requirements
- Bachelorâs degree in Engineering (e.g., Environmental, Geological, Mining, Chemical) or a related discipline
- Eligibility for or registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.)
- 7+ years of relevant experience in tailings management, mine water management, or hydrotechnical engineering
- Operational mining experience
- Proficient in GoldSim or similar software
- Strong PI System skills
- Advanced Excel skills
