As a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic, CNS Healthcare's mission is to serve the people of our communities. The Mental Health Specialist – Children and Family Services is a transitionary role for graduates of eligible master’s level programs who are not yet licensed or are pending Child Mental Health Professional (CMHP) designation.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy
- Obtain Child Mental Health (CMHP) designation within 1 year of hire, and then maintain throughout employment
- Proficient with computers and Microsoft office products
- Ability to work closely with persons with mental or physical limitations
- Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively and build positive working relationships
- Knowledge and experience with interventions used to treat psychiatric, substance use, intellectual, and developmental disabilities and diagnoses
- Ability to use discretion and judgmental when handling matters of a sensitive or confidential nature
- Ability to contribute to an inclusive environment that recognizes the value and contributions of all persons regardless of race, ethnicity, national origin, gender, religion, age, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, or disability
