Psychiatrist | Part-Time

CNS Healthcare is seeking a part-time Psychiatrist to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct clinical care, conducting psychiatric evaluations, and coordinating integrated care with internal and external providers.

Requirements

• Medical degree (M.D. or D.O.) from an accredited School of Medicine
• Active board certification by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
• Current, unrestricted, State of Michigan license to practice as a medical doctor
• Valid and unrestricted Michigan controlled substance license
• Prior clinical experience and demonstrated proficiency in medical management, crisis de-escalation, and behavior management techniques
• Working knowledge of medical terminology used in a mental health setting
• Proficient with computers and Microsoft office products
• Proficient in the use of electronic health records (EHRs)
• Ability to work well as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• Ability to use discretion and judgment when handling matters of a sensitive or confidential nature
• Advanced time management, problem solving, customer service, interpersonal, conflict resolution and skills
• Ability to be forward thinking and take initiative to accomplish goals and objectives of the department
• Ability to communicate effectively, professionally, and courteously
